Sad and Ashamed

1/3 of Americans don't believe in evolution or believe that it is wrong. Link. As an American I am ashamed to believe that in a country that values technology and education, that so many people can be ignorant. All those religious nuts that think the earth is only 6000 years old, and that man walked the earth with dinosaurs only a couple of thousand years ago, are to blame. I'm just sitting here shaking my head, wondering how people can be so ignorant.
